REGION OVERVIEW
The Dwarven kingdom of Korozok is ruled by the tyrant King Garad. Most Dwarves live underground, where mines and buildings merge together. Many Dwarves gather in the capital of Ekenvir. A resource circulation center, precious minerals are sent here and all sorts of weaponry are produced.
GEOGRAPHY
Korozok is a mountainous and hilly region, cold in the winter and hot in the summer. A variety of creatures live here, from small rabbits and foxes to wild wolves and goats. Deciduous and coniferous forests blanket the land. Dwarven agriculture relies on fertile basins, where barley is planted for winemaking. The primary water sources are the rivers Crag Stream and King's Reach, as well as groundwater from the melting snow of Mt. Mavak.

RULING
The nation is currently under the control of the tyrant king Garad, who has widened the division between lower and upper classes. The nobility have far greater power than the lower-class, to the point of enslaving them. In addition to the aristocracy, the Dwarves formed the Council of Seven Sages to select and promote outstanding talents to help manage the large empire together. With the Garad's centralization of power, the Dwarf kingdom has become more or less a dictatorship.

MAIN BELIEFS
Dwarves worship the God Kraz. Because of their close relationship, Kraz was more frequently involved in the lives of the Dwarves than any other race. It is for this reason that of all the incredible statues built in honor of the Gods, the statue of Kraz standing in the magnificent Dwarven hall of Korozok is often considered the most breathtaking and elaborate across all of Vathria. History is an essential part of the Dwarves' education, including the disaster of the Orcs and the help that came to them from their beloved God. The Dwarves believe they are a race created by the Kraz in the forge from stone and minerals. They regard their God as their father and their rulers as Kraz's closest children. Faith in their God gives Dwarves the ability to create powerful artifacts.

CLIMATE
There are two distinct biomes in Korozok, above and below the mountains. While ground level towns do exist in the region, it is beneath the rock that the great cities of the Dwarves are found. As a mountainous region, high and harsh winds are no stranger to the lands. In the underground Dwarven strongholds, the temperature can be controlled with great fires and vent shafts that access the surface and bring cool air down into the heart of the land.
