Angels

Overview

Angels are winged creatures and servants of the Goddess Oriani. They are rarely seen in Vathria but bring hope and peace wherever they tread. They reside within the realm of Celestiala with the Goddess, high above the world in another plane of existence. Jamella and the Champion Iliad are the only Angles to have recently been seen in Vathria. Still, all Angels have a history of spending time in the mortal realm, either in Humans disguise or Angelic form.

Culture

As no mortal has ever traveled to the realm of Celestiala, it is impossible to say what the culture of the Angels entails. The legends of the Angel speak of prayer and song dedicated to the Goddess.

Government

Angels follow the decree of Oriani. Following the Heavensblight, the Goddess turned her back on the world to protect the Soul Shard of Mazaroth. She tasked the Angels with blessing the Humans and speaking on behalf of her to them.

Physical

The Angels possess an unearthly beauty and are recognizable by their wings of alabaster feathers. They typically wear robes of pure white and carry a ring of pure gold gifted to them by Oriani, which is the source of their power of Holy Light. 

Personality

They are filled with holy joy and peace, although in the mortal realm, they can take on Human emotions and appear more Human. They seek to serve Oriani and do her bidding. 

Talents

The Angels can channel the Holy Light of Oriani into powerful abilities. They can fly at incredible speeds and have the strength of a dozen men. They are formidable warriors of the Light and champions of what is good in the world.
