Dryads

Overview

The Dryads live peacefully in the forests of Ulthran. They are dedicated to Ulla and preserving her forests.

Culture

The Dryads try as best as possible to refrain from conflict and live in harmony with nature, creating song and poetry. They are adept at archery and incorporate this into their sports and cultural writings. It is common for parents to tell stories of legendary Dryad archers to their children at bedtime.

Government

Dryads do not have their leader figure, unlike the Harpies, Amazons, or Druids. Instead, they obey the will of Ulla through the Messenger of the Forest. While no Dryad has even been selected to become Messenger, they feel a natural affinity for the trees. The Dryads do not always get along with the Druids of Ulthran, but both races have always had mutual respect for adherence to Ulla's decrees. 

Physical

Dryads have a deer's body and a human's torso and head. Their hair is often green, like the verdant forest in which they reside. 

Personality

The Dryads are dedicated to protecting and preserving the natural forests of Ulthran. 

Talents

Dryads have the agility and speed of a deer.
